: Please select one of the following prompts to write a full 3-4 page essay in MLA format, 12 font Times New Roman, typed, double space. You will want to support your interpretation of the literature with strong and compelling textual support (quotes from the literary text). While there is no set number of required quotes, it is recommended that each body paragraph contains a solid quote from the text. Keep in mind the overall purpose or goal of this assignment is to present a fresh, insightful, and meaningful reading (interpretation) of the literature. You should not use any outside sources for this assignment. You do want to cite in text your quotations from the stories and a works cited page at the end. The works cited page does not count toward the full 3-4 pages. The assignment will be submitted to the dropbox labelled Critical Essay #1.
